After five years at our office on King William Street, Katalyst Interactive has found a new office in Kent Town on the city fringe that we started calling home in January 2024.
With the lease term ending, our director embarked on plans to find a new home for Katalyst in late 2023. After visiting several possible locations, our staff unanimously decided on the technology innovation hub at
‘Base64’ in Kent Town.
Our new office is part of a refurbished 19th-century building and is a notable historical landmark in Adelaide. Redesigned as a productive and collaborative space, Base64 offers various working and meeting areas with indoor and outdoor spaces. This technologically advanced facility boasts high-speed gigabit internet connectivity and energy self-sufficiency from its eco-friendly solar panels and a large electrical storage system based on an innovative "flow battery" design.
Within the Base64 complex our new working space, known as the ‘upper chapel’, is located in the oldest part of the building, beautifully remodelled as a contemporary space while still retaining its 19th-century character features such as arched-shaped windows with colonial metalwork. Our team also have access to fully-featured boardrooms equipped with AV technology, ideal for hosting client meetings and running project workshops.
